Surprise 80th birthday party at Churck-A-Rama        

I slept in, had prayer with Debbie and later my personal prayer.  We set up the air-mattress up stairs.  I went to the Legacy center to exercise and jogg.  The center was sponsoring a health fair.  I got a free 5 minute back rub and talked to Paul a Chiropractor who had a booth.  He said he can help my indigestion and trimmer in my left hand.  Sue took a picture of my Humana Gold Medicare Health Insurance.  She said she would call and see what I need is covered.  I came home and Debbie went shopping.  When she got home Jody picked her up with the food she had prepared for Samantha and Tyler Traveller and flowers for the new baby, Josie.  I worked on editing our favorite Thoughts and Quotes from 2023 and watched the end of a movie on YouTube.  Matthew called and wanted to know Debbie and I wanted to have dinner with them so Debbie would not have to cook?  He and Isabella picked us up and we went to Chuck-A-Rama in Lehi.  Debbie had reserved a room and when I walked in almost all the family was waiting.  Ryan's family from Logan was the only one who did not make it.  He had family sick and had to be out of town.  Cooper and Kenna brought a great-grandson, Grayson.  Debbie had planned it and everyone made a special effort to come.  Michael and Beth flew up from San Clemente.  They sang happy birthday to me.  This is what I really enjoy, all of both sides of the family being together, loving each other, and sharing life experiences.  This means much more than presents that money can buy.  After Chuck-A-Rama everyone came over to the house.  Debbie had made a German chocolate cake and lemon poke cake with green jello.  This must be a little of what heaven will be like.  Michael, Matthew, Beth, and Rae Lynn spent the night.  Bella went back home with Alex and spent the night.  We took pictures before everyone left.  We had prayer and I thanked Heavenly Father for my wife and family and all the love, joy, and happiness that was there.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
