Mountain Travel Expo

We slept in this morning.  It was after midnight before we got to bed.  I was trying to get my 2023 journal downloaded in a format to print.  I showered, shaved, and Debbie and I had prayer before starting the day.  We signed up to help clean the Saratoga Springs Temple at 9:30 pm to midnight on Feb. 14th, Valentine's Day.  Alex texted me checking to see if I could take her or her Dad, Michael, to the airport at 12:30 pm.  I went over to Aron Spencer's apartment, who lives next door to Derek Soderqtist, Elder Quorum President of Lehi 7th Ward.  To help Aaron move from Jana's basement apartment.  Aaron and Jana were sweethearts from high school and have two teenage sons. Debbie ministers to Jana and her two boys.  Jana had gone to a funeral in St. George and was not home but the boys and Aaron's dad were there to help.  Andra and her young daughter were helping.  Andar is Aaron's fiancee. They are getting married in two weeks. There was a good turnout from the elders with utility trailers and SUVs to pack things in.  When I returned home, Debbie made a late breakfast before Alex came over.  She is going with Blake and Ryan to a private island in the Bahamas to watch their children, James, Inez, Betsy, and Olin.  Alex asked me to give her a blessing before she left.  After the blessing, we had to rush to get her to the Salt Lake City Airport by 2 pm.  Her flight leaves at 3:20 pm.  After we dropped Alex off we drove to the Morris Columbia Travel Expo in Sandy, UT.  We collected a lot of brochures and advertising literature.  We set in on a presentation on Africa in one of the assembly hall meeting rooms.  It was very interesting.  We also collected information on travel to Ireland, Scotland, England, and Norway.   We got home after 5 pm and Debbie prepared dinner.  We listened to Come Follow Me, 1 Nephi 16-19.  Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
