Cooper Traveller's 23rd Birthday

I woke at 6 am.  I had a good night's sleep.  I sent Cooper a birthday text wish from me and Debbie.  Debbie and I had prayer together before I left to hike up the 'Y' mountain in Provo.  She and Jody left a few minutes later.  They spent the day together and this evening took Cooper to dinner for his 23rd birthday.  I took honey and crunchy peanut sandwiches, grapes, almonds, and hydration water with me and spent the day, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm hiking.  Shawn Smith in Rome, GA returned my call from earlier and brought me up to date on his, his wife, April, and his son Britol's life.  I told him to not let Bristol forget the promise he made to me about 15 years ago on a Father and Son Outing with the Rome Ward.  He would invite me to go with him when he gets married and has a son who is old enough to go on a Father and Son Outing.  I also talked to Matthew while I was on the mountain.  He wanted me. to call him every 45 minutes to make sure I was OK since I was not on any trails.  I took a few pictures.  I ate my lunch I brought this morning.  It was about 4 pm when I finished eating.  I drove back home and saw Debbie and Jody as they were leaving.  They invited me to come and celebrate Cooper's birthday but I needed to shower and was tired.  When Debbie, Jody, Cooper, Kenna, Grayson, and Liby came home they brought me a chicken dinner from Cain's.  Jared, Jami, with some of their family with Tate's friend, and Max's friend stopped by after the BYU baseball game.  When they went home Debbie and I had prayer with Jody, Cooper, Kenna, and Libby.  Debbie and I set up the air mattress and put sheets and bedspread on the bed.  Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.

 I am above the 'Y' and having to make my own trail.  I left home with my dress tennis shoes on, not my boots.  I needed my boots and gloves for hiking today

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
