Prioritized Daily Task

8 am - set up chairs in our ward building for church services

9 am - Sacrament meeting Lehi 7th Ward

10:30 am - Church services at Abbington Memory Center 

I was up early, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  When Debbie woke we had prayer together.  At 8 am I went to the ward building to set up chairs for church services today.  The building had not been cleaned again this week.  I learned that the ward who had the assignment has been assigned to attend another ward building in our stake.  The assignment changes in May to the Lehi 7th Ward to clean the building.  I went back home at 9 am and picked Debbie up.  We attended sacrament and at 10:15 am we drove to Abbington Memory Center and set up the dining and recreation room for church services.   Bishop Yates came with some of the members of the Lehi 7th Ward for services here today.  After the sacrament meeting the priesthood helped put everything back in its place.  Debbie and I came home and Debbie fixed brunch.  We watched a Bible movie on TV and studied the 4th and 5th chapters of Mosiah.  I called the children and was able to get Beth and Matthew. I left messages for Rae Lynn and Michael.  Debbie fixed a nice Porkchop dinner with vegetables and fruit.  We watched a story of Jesus's life on TV.  We had prayer together and personal prayers before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body.
