Prioritized Daily Task

Note: Satan's plan was to get all of us, Heavenly Father's children, back home to be with Heavenly Father, without learning to be like Him.  That is why the cherubim and a flaming sword were placed in the Garden of Eden to stop Adam and Eve from eating of the Tree of Life and living forever in our sins.  Heavenly Father still wants us back home with him but there are NO SHORT CUTS.   Alma 12: 24 & 26

Alma 8:10 Nevertheless Alma labored much in the spirit, wrestling with God in mighty prayer, that he would pour out his Spirit upon the people who were in the city; that he would also grant that he might baptize them unto repentance.

Note: Family Home Evenings have been in place for a long time, even in heaven before we came to this earth.  They begin with a prayer and ended in a fight where 1/3 of all Heavenly Father's children sinned, rebelled against God, and were cast out of heaven.

A question, why don't I have more of the priesthood power in my life that I have experienced from time to time in the last 58 years?  I assume it is because of my lack of faith.  I do not want to mistake a lack of permission from God to do miracles, for a lack of power and faith. (Alma had the faith and power to save the women and children who were being burned by the people of Ammonihah but he did not have the permission to stretch forth his hand and save them as Amulek wanted to do. Alma 14:10,11,15)

Debbie's alarm woke us at 6:30 am.  We had prayer together and she got ready to go on the excursion we purchased for today.  I decided yesterday I would not go today, for two reasons, the first, I want to keep the Sabbath holy, and second, I need the rest to give my body time to heal from the cold, sickness, I have.  I had my personal prayer and went back to bed.  Later I showered and washed a shirt and put it on our balcony to dry.  The sun is shining and it is a beautiful sabbath day.  I wrote some in my journal and listened to a YouTube podcast of Come Follow Me, Unshaken, Alma 13-16 by Jared Halverson, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSquF1izVtU).  While I was listening to the scriptures, the weather changed and it started drizzling.  All the drying of my shirt and underwater the sun had done earlier was gone.  I brought them inside and hung them in the bathroom and went back to listening and studying the scriptures.  Later I took a nap until Debbie and the children got back this afternoon.  We all had dinner together.  We Debbie and I got back to the room we had prayer before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey. I paid our Citi Visa credit card statement for June to be paid on July 12th and tithing for August 2024.  I rode in a separate tender over to the island going by the old fort.  It was constructed in 1780, Clarence...

 28 Jul 2024, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  8 am - set up chairs at Lehi 7th Ward Building 9 am - Sacrament meeting Lehi 7th Ward 10:15 am - Church at Abbington Memory Center I did not set an alarm but woke at 7 am refreshed.  My internal clock wakes me when I have got 7 to 8 hours of sleep.  I had my personal prayer, made the bed, got dressed, and was at the church building before 8 am.  I started setting up chairs in the overflow.  The first to arrive was brother Gary Pyne.   He has been a counselor in the Elder's Quorum Presidency but was released to serve on the stake high council.  When his meeting with the stake presidency and high council was finished he came over to the Lehi 7th Ward and helped me.  Later other brothers and some wives arrived.  We finished setting up chairs for the overflow, the Priesthood, the primary room, and the Relief Society room.  We were finished by 8:50 am.  Our new stake president ...

 27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...
