I was up at 5 am Amsterdam time; had prayer, showered, shaved, and dressed in a white shirt, tie, and suit for church today.  When Debbie got up we had prayer and he got ready for the day.  We took our luggage with us to the Windjammer Buffett for breakfast.  We met everyone except Elain and Eric who were not ready.  After breakfast, we deboarded and walked to the Central Train Station and caught a train to the airport.  We had about 20 minutes to get to the church before 10 am, time for the starting of Sacrament Meeting.  We still have five pieces of luggage we carried with us off the boat and lugged for almost a mile to the train station.  Now we are at the Amsterdam airport where we hoped we would be here at the airport an hour and half ago, so we could go to our hotel, check in, or leave our luggage until our room is ready.  By the time we got to the Best Western Hotel and put our luggage in a lock-away room, we did not have enough time to get to church.  We caught the hotel shuttle bus back to the airport, then a bus to a bus stop near our water canal boat tour.  It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon riding along the canal seeing the boats, old homes, flowers, and weeping willow trees.  Walking on the street we saw two square bronze markers for two Van Gogh family members who fought in the underground resistance against the German Natzis.  On the way back to the hotel we rode the subway and a train to the airport; then the shuttle bus back to our hotel.  We checked in and picked up our luggage where the hotel had stored it for us.  Later we had an apple and orange we brought with us and Debbie got some food from the vending machine in the hotel lobby.  After dinner, we had prayer together before going to bed.

 27 Nov 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 9:00 am - Bart, Bayland, and Wyatt helping to shovel snow in the driveway I was up at 6:30 am, had prayer, and got ready for the day.  It snowed last night and I shoveled snow from 9:30 am until Bart, Baylen, and Wyatt, my nephews, came at about 4 PM.  I did not stop except to eat. and take a few pictures.   Anndalyn Hobbs was the first to arrive with Camdon, Ellie, Audrey, Braddock, and Ocie.  She got about halfway up the drive.  The children and I took their luggage, games, and food up to the cabin.  I followed Anndalyn down to Timber Lakes' overnight parking and brought her back to the cabin.  George and Laura Gourley came with Clara and Allison.  I read and talked to George.   Camdon is putting his papers for his missions in January 2025.  Ryan, Stephanie, Abbie, Carter, Carter, Mackay, and Andrew Hobbs arrive at about 6:00 PM.  Kylie came up next.  She had...
