Debbbie and I both we up at 7 am, showered, and had prayer. I sent Amy Truitt Kelly a happy birthday text. Debbie cooked breakfast. We packed and cleaned the apartment. I worked. on translating a small part of the old English deed of Robert McColpin of 2 Dec. 1728, to modern English. We drove to Cashel. It rained on and off all day. We toured the St. Patrick’s Rock of Cashel and heard the story of the history of Cashel from about 500 or 600 AD. I would like to have a better understanding of the history of Ireland and Scotland and how my family fit in. On the way to Waterford, the low air pressure indicator light was still on from yesterday. We drove an extra 20 km or more trying to find a Best Drive Service. The GPS took us to a residential area with a street name similar to Best Drive. I decided to try and find a gas station with an air compressor. We were down 1/2 tank of fuel and started looking for a large gas station. We saw on in a roundabout before we arrived at the Waterford Mall. We drove to our next exit and went into the gas station. I went in to pay to get enough gas to fill the tank on the Opel. I took the young man at the counter my low air pressure gauge warning light is on and need to put some air in the tires. He told me this station no longer provides that service. He gave me directions to a gas station that does have an air pump. I went out to fill the car with gas and Debbie told me to look across the street. There was a Best Driver location. I filled the car with gas and then drove across the street and James, the manager, check all the tires and all the tires at 35 psi. I took pictures of the gas station and Best Driver. I want to always remember how the Lord guides His children. We found a parking space near the Waterford Mall and paid for parking on Debbie's cell phone. We were in time for a tour before they close. The company has an interesting history and the marketing of a quality product is impressive. We took some pictures and drove to Coolcormack Stud B&B and met John Joe. He and his wife operate the bed and breakfast. He inherited the farm when his father who was 93 passed away. The buildings are old but John Joe took one where his dad had lived, gutted the building, and for two and half years lived in a camping trailer while he built a place for him and his wife to live and two rooms to rent. He told us about a restaurant in town, The Mooring, to get dinner. It was on the street where boats dock. We walked around the area. There is a fort but the gates were closed. We took some pictures and drove back to our B&B. I visited with John Joe; Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed at about 1:00 am.

The 9/11 Waterford Crystal Sculpture was created as a memorial to the 343 New York City Fire Department members who lost their lives on 9/11. The base of the piece is comprised of Irish bog oak. The 9/11 Waterford Crystal sculpture, which took over 200 hours to create, was presented to the Fire Department of New York.
