Prioritized Daily Task

8 AM - Zoom with Mirco, Ljubuica, and Bojana Jelicic in Serbia

I was up at 6:45 AM, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got ready for church.  Debbie got up later and we had prayer together, she put more towels and pillowcases in the dryer.  At 8 AM we Zkyped with Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana Jelicic in Novi Sad, Serbia.  It was good seeing and talking to them on the computer.  They need help, help that only the Lord knows how to give.   The situation in the branch is toxic among the members and the way the Church is viewed by the locals is only what they see coming from those who are supposed to be loving and Christ-like in their actions.  The Jelicic's daughter, Bojana, sees how it pulls her parents down.  Today we are fasting, and one of the things in our fast is for this family, that the Lord will help us to know what we can do to help strengthen them.  Before we left for church at the Wild Mare Ward at 10:30 AM Debbie put another load of wet towels in the dryer.  We attended Sacrament and Testimony Meeting and afterwards, we went to Sunday School.  We came back to the cabin, changed clothes, and started packing the Subaru.  Robin, my niece, came up and joined us in breaking our fast.  She said it would mean a lot to Baylen and her family if I could make it to Baylen's mission farewell in Burbank on Dec. 15th.  After Robyn left Debbie and I drove home.   The out back was full.  Debbie had to hold the large black plastic trash bag from the cabin to the dumpsters.  When we got home Patrick had unloaded the things, tables, chairs, and boxes, he brought down from the cabin and put them in our garage.  We unpacked and put the food in the refrigerator and the freezer.  I called Michael and left a message; I also texted him to turn the thermostat down to economy to save on the gas.  We have a 120 gal. underground tank which is down from 90% when it was filled to 70% now.   Michael is probably traveling so when Matthew called I had him turn the thermostat down to about 55 degrees.  Debbie texted Toni Kirkham and let her know the cabin is empty and washed and dried all the bed linen and towels.   She texted back and said she would get it cleaned this week.  Debbie and I had prayer and got to bed at about 10 PM.

 27 Nov 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 9:00 am - Bart, Bayland, and Wyatt helping to shovel snow in the driveway I was up at 6:30 am, had prayer, and got ready for the day.  It snowed last night and I shoveled snow from 9:30 am until Bart, Baylen, and Wyatt, my nephews, came at about 4 PM.  I did not stop except to eat. and take a few pictures.   Anndalyn Hobbs was the first to arrive with Camdon, Ellie, Audrey, Braddock, and Ocie.  She got about halfway up the drive.  The children and I took their luggage, games, and food up to the cabin.  I followed Anndalyn down to Timber Lakes' overnight parking and brought her back to the cabin.  George and Laura Gourley came with Clara and Allison.  I read and talked to George.   Camdon is putting his papers for his missions in January 2025.  Ryan, Stephanie, Abbie, Carter, Carter, Mackay, and Andrew Hobbs arrive at about 6:00 PM.  Kylie came up next.  She had...
