6:30 AM - drive up to 136 N. Sunset Canyon Dr., Burbank for Sacrament meeting

9:30 AM - Baylen’s farewell    Elder Baylen Johnson has been called to serve in the Argentina Tucuman Mission                                                      Church     -      136 N. Sunset Canyon Dr., Burbank, CA

6:00 PM - Celebrate Gavin’s birthday at home in San Clemente 

I got up at 5:15, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  Everyone here at Matthew and Melodie's was sleeping.  I drove to Robyn and Bart's at 8:45 AM.  I woke Baylen and gave him his farewell card and present.  The rest of the family was getting ready for Sacrament meeting at Sunset Canyon Ward.  There was a large attendance today.  Baylen has lots of family and friends from the singles ward here in this area he has been attending.  Both his grandmothers, Charlene Johnson and Elain, my sister, were here.  Bishop Marsh called Baylen's former young men's president and bishop,  Shawn Austin, who has moved to Utah to attend church and speak at Baylen's farewell.  In Baylen's talk, he told how the Lord sent people in his life and turned him to know a mission is what the Lord wants Baylen to do.  His girlfriend of 3 years and her parents were here at church and came over to Bart and Robyn's home for a luncheon after church.  I drove back to Beth's in San Clemente.   We all went over about 5:30 pm to a 22nd birthday party for Gavin Autumn and Michael put on for him.  Matthew, Bella, and Ava came up from San Marcos.  Melodie and Madeline are still in Houston Texas.  I though they came back last night but I was mistaken.  I called and talked to Debbie at home before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey. I paid our Citi Visa credit card statement for June to be paid on July 12th and tithing for August 2024.  I rode in a separate tender over to the island going by the old fort.  It was constructed in 1780, Clarence...

 27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
