Note: Email I sent to Michael, Matthew, Dan, Susan, and Amy;  ".......the conservation contract on parcel 0016-0001v (57.08acs off Jacksonville Rd). Any name/owner/split changes made this year (2023) are in violation of the contract and may cause a breach. A breach would result in a penalty of two times the savings per year.  If you split the land into two portions this year (2023), each owner MUST come into the office Jan 1 – April 1 2024 and CONTINUE the current contract.  Then when the original contract expires 12/31/2024, if the owners wish to continue the Conservation, they will come into the office Jan 1 – April 1 2025 and begin their 10 year contract.  This came from Monique Carruth Haralson County Assessors Office, Exemption Administrator, Buchanan, GA, phone (770) 646-2022.  She called me and said she would put it on her calendar."

Everyone slept in; Debbie and I had prayer, and I had my personal prayer.  Debbie and Stephanie are cooking brunch.  Debbie made up the pancake batter last night, and let it rise.  I brought the folding chairs from outside garage and took them upstairs and put them around the ping-pong table.  I brought the fruit juice from the downstairs freezer and refrigerator up to the kitchen.  George and Laura brought over their folding chairs so there would be enough chairs for everyone to sit and have brunch.  I worked on charge card billings.  We ate a nice brunch and watched college football.  Before everyone except for Jody and Tony's family and Jared and Jami's family all left, Debbie had a spiritual thought and Ryan led the family pray together before they left.  Tylee came over and she and Debbie worked on their trip to Fiji.  Matthew called, he is at the cabin by himself; I told him to come by and stay with us when he comes down to the valley to check on office space.  He called back and wants me to come up to the cabin with him and visit Elain.  When he arrived we watched the first half of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, Georgia ranked # 5 and Michigan ranked #1 are playing.   I packed an overnight bag; we had prayer with Debbie and rode up to Heber and stopped at Elain's cabin.  Matthew and I played a table game with Bart, Adam, his girlfriend __________, Jake, his friend _________, Bo, Baylen, Kate, Wyatt and their grandmother Charlene Johnson.  Robyn and Lori Lynn went up to Park City Hospital to pickup their mother, Elain.  When they got to Heber, Elain remembered she left her cell phone at the hospital.  She took the car and drove back to the hospital.  Bart Johnson drove down to pick them up.   We visited with everyone waiting for Elain to get back until after 10 p.m.  Lori Lynn talked to her mother; she picked her phone up at Park City Hospital; she stopped and got some dinner; when she came out her car would not crank, she had to get someone to jump-start her car.  Matthew and I came up to the cabin and Matthew watched the Georgia and Michigan Rose Bowl Football Game where we left off at the beginning of the 3rd quarter until he went to sleep.  I had my personal prayer and got to bed after midnight.
