Josephine Em Traveller (they are going to call her Josie) was born today about 12 noon at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah County, UT.  She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 in. long. The mother is Samantha "Sam" Gourley, the father is Tyler, the grandparents are George and Laura Gourley, and the Great-gradndmother is Debbie McAlpin

Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready for the day.  I started packing to spend the night at the cabin tonight and skiing tomorrow with Matthew, Bella, Rae Lynn, and Brody.  It snowed last night and is snowing today.  I used the snowblower and shovel to remove the snow from the drive and walk this morning.  Debbie fixed or made brunch; I sent an email to "Sudip", Nirdos Kadel, my tour guide in Nepal for Base Camp Mt. Everest.  He was assigned to help me when I went to Base Camp at Annapurna in September 2019.  I let him know that the end of August or the first part of September 2024 during the monsoon season.  They have had things fairly easy and this will hopefully be a challenge they will remember.  Debbie went shopping for Shirley Hobbs who is shut-in at an assisted living home and cannot get out.  Samantha called Debbie from the hospital and she went by to see Sam and Josie.  When she got home we had dinner and I finished packing.  At 8:20 pm I went to the Provo Airport to pick up Matthew, Isabella, Rae Lynn, and Brody.  Today I received the two books, 2022 and 2023 Thoughts and Quotes I had StoryWorth print.  I want to edit the 2023 book before I have it printed for all the children.  I got to the Provo Airport at 8:45 pm.  The children were already here.  Rae Lynn was trying to rent a car but did not have a credit card, only her Debit Card, and Budget Car Rental would not accept it.  I tried to help her with my American Express Card but without a valid driver's license I could not help.  Matthew came to the rescue.  I left Matthew's winter clothes he had boxed up with his boots.  Debbie drove down to the 800 North exit in Orem and met us at Maverick gas station.  Matthew drove the rental car and Rae Lynn drove the Land Rover of Michael's.  The snow was not plowed today and it was a challenge getting both the Land Rover and the Subaru up the driveway.   We unloaded the vehicles and got ready for bed.  Matthew, Rae Lynn, Isabella, and Broday had I had family prayer.  I got to bed at about 11:45 pm.  Matt called and woke Jason Plow (435-503-4550) and asked him to snowplow the drive tomorrow.  Michael sent me a new article and a picture of a 93-year-old working out on a rowing machine in a gym with other people with the caption that he is as fit as a 40-year-old and it is never too late to start a fitness program.  I think of Ora and Dan's neighbor who lives behind them and is in his 90s.  I sent Michael a text back, that my hat is off to him.
