Prioritized Daily Task

8:00 am - setup chairs in overflow for church services in Lehi 7th Ward building

9:00 am - Church Lehi 7th Ward

I was up at 6:30 am, had prayer, showered and shaved.  I let Debbie sleep.  I fixed breakfast for us and when Debbie got out of the shower and dressed, we had prayer together and ate breakfast.  I went to the church and helped set up chairs for church services in our building today.  Afterward, I came home and picked Debbie up and we went to Church.  We attended Sacrament and afterward Priesthood and Relief Society meetings.  On the way home we stopped and Glenn and Wendy Smith's.   This is the first time I have seen them since they got home from their vacation to Australia and New Zealand.  Glenn was looking well, much better than I had expected.  They had a great time.  Their grandchildren are coming over to watch the Super Bowl game later this afternoon.  When we got home, Debbie went to see Janet, a single mother, she ministers to.  I sent an early Valentine greeting to Beth, Rae Lynn, Autumn, and Melodie without telling them it was for Valentine's Day.  I read in Heart of the Matter by President Russell M. Nelson.  Debbie prepared a nice dinner and we ate at about 5 pm.  I received a text from Autumn about when Blake, Alex, and Gavin will be graduating.  I sent a text to Autumn and each of the 3 grandchildren. We will be at Alex's graduation on April 25 in Provo; I will be at Blake's graduation on May 30th but Debbie will be a Kylie's graduation on May 31st in Logan, UT.  I sent a text to Autumn and Gavin that we will not be at his graduation from Burkley on May 11th because we will be on a cruise with the 12-year-old grandchildren.  I read and Debbie worked on leis for  grandchildren graduating from 3 from high school and 3 from college leis made from $1 and $2 bills.  Kylie, Tyliee, and Libby are also graduating from trade schools.  Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body.
