Prioritized Daily Task
8:00 am - set up chairs in overflow of ward building
9:00 am - Sacrament meeting
10:30 am - McAlpions turn Church at Abbington Memory Center
I woke before 6::30 am, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got dressed. I let Debbie sleep; we had prayer together, and at 8 am I went to the church to help set up chairs for church services for all the wards that are meeting in the same building today. I came home at 8:45 am. and picked Debbie up. We had avocado toast as we drove back to the church. We attended Lehi 7th Ward Sacrament meeting. At about 10 am we drove to Abbington Memory Center. Point Meadows 2nd Ward has the assignment from the Stake to provide music and priesthood today. At 10:25 am I called Travis Tingee, the Elder's Quorum President. He had not been notified they had the assignment. He called the Bishop. While we waited Debbie and I started the meeting at 10:30 am. We had an opening song, an opening prayer, and then I passed the microphone around. There was only one sister who shared her testimony. She is a return missionary from Switzerland. By the time she finished, Presiden Tingee arrived with some priesthood from his ward. He ended the meeting close to 11 am. They helped put up the chairs, podium, and table after cleaning up from the sacrament they had set up. I sent Matthew and Melodie an email last night. I called Michael and left a message. I also sent him a text. Debbie fixed brunch. Michael called and was charging Autumn's EV to have enough charge to get to the house in Lehi. When he was waiting he Facetimed with Debbie and helped her get her Apple Mac computer working with the Cannon MF4700 printer. He connected Autumn's Mercedes to an outlet in the garage here at our house and will let it charge until she, Gracie, and the other children get here tomorrow. They are driving back to San Clemente. I took Michael to the SLC Airport to catch a Delta Flight back home. We talked about Blake and Gavin and their accomplishments. I called Mattthew, Beth, and Rae Lynn. I did not get through but left a message to each one. Beth called back and we talked about Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew, and how she was doing. Debbie prepared dinner for Jared, Porter, Tate, and Max. We had pizza and brownies and ice cream for dessert. Later when Tylee got off from work she came over. Porter and Tate took the car and Tylee rode back home with her dad and Max. Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed. Leroy and Glenda Glenn from Birmingham, AL called tonight. They wanted Max Kimball's phone number. Their granddaughter is getting married and the Birmingham Temple will be closed this year for 6 months for renovation. They will be assigned to the Atlanta Temple until their temple reopens. Max is a sealer in the Atlanta Temple and they want him to seal their grand-daughter as he did their parents. Leroy and Max were missionaries in the same district and mission when they were young.
