Prioritized Daily Task

Get 4 birthday cards 

Get tax information ready for the meeting tomorrow with Matt McCleary; put it on a thumb USB drive and match it with hard copies from the files

7:30 am - Debbie's doctor's appointment

9:00 am - Skype with Mirko and Ljubica in Serbia

8:00 pm - Pick Matthew, Melodie, and girls up at Provo Airport

Debbie was up early and went to the Revier Imaging Center in Provo.  I got up at 6:45 am, had prayer, studied scriptures, read, listened to the rest of The Godson, by Leo Tolstoy, and listened to Biography on YouTube TV.  Debbie talked to Jody this morning.  At 9 am Debbie and I Skyped with Mirko and Ljubica and had a good visit.  It has been since about January 14, of this year that we have Skyped.  Debbie and I spent most of the rest of the day working on gathering and organizing hard copies and data on the computer for our meeting tomorrow morning with Matt McCleary.  I listened to another YouTube story, The Story of Ivan the Fool by Leo Tolstoy.  Matthew called and I am picking him, Madeline, Bella, Bobby Daniels, and his daughter at the Provo Airport at 10:30 pm.  I stopped at Home Depot and bought a couple of tie-down straps and a 25 foot 14 gage extension cord with an adaptor from 3 prongs to 2 prongs.   When we got home they decided to take the Tesla which was fully charged and leave the Land Rover.  Daniel brought his skies and used the tie-downs to strap it to the top of the Land Rover but put them in the back of the Tesla.  It was after midnight before Debbie and I had pray and got the bed.

Note:  I asked Matthew and Melodie to send me the story of Bella a few weeks back and I received this today:  Please do not forget to send me the story you told me about Bella at Double Peek Elementary School. (name of the new math and teacher Bella showed or explained how it is done)  

I'm not exactly sure what the specific math was, but her teacher's name is Suzie Willis, her 5th-grade teacher.  Ms. Willis didn't know how to do the math, but knew that Bella wanted a challenge, so found the problem and told Bella to figure it out and teach it to her, which she did. 

The name of the Charter School? Private school?

The name of the school is Pacific Ridge School.  It's a private school for 6-12th grades. 

The name of the national test, Bella finished early and the proctor told her she had more time to review any of the questions she was not sure about or may need to review -  Bella replied, "There are not any"

The test is called the ISEE test

What she scored on the test and what was her ranking in the nation? 

She scored an 878, which is the 99th percentile. She also scored a 90th percentile in reading. 

How the school will allow her to be in the 6th grade with other students her age but during math class she will go to the high school and attend to start with the 9th grade class 

The school lets the students test into higher grades for math, ELA, and language classes. So, if she's at grade level for all other classes, she can still go to a higher grade class for math.

Madeline and Bella were both accepted to the school! We just found out this week.

Grandpa records things like this in my journal and want it to be accurate.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door.
