Prioritized Daily Task
Tate Hobbs 13th Birthday
8:00 am - set up chairs for church
9:00 AM - Sacrament Lehi 7th Ward
10:30 am - church at Abbington Memory Center
I was up at 6 am before the alarm went off. I texted Tate a happy 13 birthday wish on my iPhone by a thread. Debbie got up a little later. I had my personal prayer, showered, shaved, and got dressed for church. Debbie and I had prayer and I went to our ward building at 8 am and set up chairs for our ward and other wards that will be meeting in the building today. I came home and picked Debbie up. We went back and attended Sacrament Meeting and then went over to Abbington Memory Center. The two caregivers had the chairs set up for church. Debbie and finished setting up the room for church but no one from Lehi 7th Ward came. I went back; priesthood meeting was going on. I talked to Derrick Sodoiquest, Elder Quorum President. No one had told him our ward had the assignment for church services at Abbington Memory Center today. He got 3 volunteers, Matthew Shaw, A.L., and Roger Haromn, we rode back to the memory center, and Matthew and A.L. prepared the sacrament. Brother Harmon conducted. One of the caregivers played the piano and Debbie led the music. After church and we put everything back up Debbie and I came home. We drove over to Jared and Jami's. Her parents, Lynn and Brenda, had watched Max and Jack while Jared, Jami, Tylee, Porter, and Tate went to Hawaii for the week. Debbie gave Jack his birthday present and we visited awhile before going over to see Patrick and Anndalyn. Debbie gave Anndalyn her birthday card. They are taking Ocie for her baptism pictures at the Draper Temple. Debbie and I visited and Debbie showed them pictures of her trip to Portugal. We came home and Debbie fixed a late lunch or early dinner. I called Michael and he said he would go with me to Mt. Everest Base Came in Nepal in March 2025 if I do not go in October this year. I called and talked to Beth and Maggie. I tried calling Matthew and Rae Lynn but the calls went to voice mail. I left messages; I listened to the book of Enos on the YouTube Podcast, Come Follow Me with Jared Halverson. Later Debbie cooked dinner and I sent Darrell Harmon, the Gateway Stake High Councilman with the assignment over Abbington Memory Center and email. I called him at 801-680-7573 and left a message on his voicemail. Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.
