Prioritized Daily Task

8:00 am - set up chairs for church services in our ward building

9:00 am - Lehi 7th Ward

12:15 pm - give stewardship report to Brother Leatham

I was up at 7 am, had prayer, showered, shaved, and got ready for church.  Debbie got up before I left and we had prayer.  When I got to the ward building to set up the chairs I saw the building had not been cleaned from last week.  I got the vacuum and started in the chapel.  The elders and some of their families came later and set up the chairs for church services today.  I finished hitting the high places just in time to go and get Debbie for church.  She met me walking and we attended Sacrament and Sunday School meetings.  After church, we came home and had lunch.  I called and talked to Matthew, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  Michael did not answer his phone.  I think he is in Ukrnian; Matthew saw his picture on Facetime.  I called James "Jim" Russell, Doris McAlpin was his wife.  He will be 90 on his birthday and has about given up on living.  His daughters, Susan, Linda, and Sheri check on every day but he still lives alone.  Debbie prepared a nice dinner.  Later I watched a documentary on YouTube about Tuam Orphanage: Children Of Shame in Southern Ireland.  It is painful to know such horrific things have happened to babies and young children; the heartache it caused mothers.  I watched the story of Abraham from the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament before having prayer with Debbie and going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body.
