Debbie and I got up at about 5 am. We slept about 12 to 13 hours; we had prayer, and studied scriptures. Debbie has our time planned well while we are here in Amsterdam and all of our time traveling the next 4 or 5 weeks. Here in Amsterdam, we are on our own traveling to church, touring, and seeing things we want to see. We travel on public transportation by shuttle, buses, trams, boats, coaches, and trains. When we get to Ireland we will be traveling in a rental car. At 7 am Debbie and I had breakfast here at Best Western. Afterward, we caught a ride on the hotel shuttle to the airport, rode the train to Amsterdam Central, and walked a block where we met a group of about 150 tourists. On the English tour with Harold as our guide and Philip as our bus driver. There were about 50 people on our bus. Our tour lasted about 8 hours. Our last stop was the Windmill Village where Debbie and paid for two servings of an apple pie. We ran out of time and we took our apple pie in to-go boxes and ate them when we got back to our hotel. It was raining and cold all day. It was a challenge walking against the wind and rain. The rain felt like hale or sleet hitting us in the face. Debbie covered her face with her umbrella. She could not see where she was going and held on to my arm until we got inside the train station at Central. Matthew called about 5:30 pm and was still in Paris with his family. Elain was on the train to Amsterdam. She is supposed to be in about 7:30 pm. The heat has been turned off to our room and the boiler could not be turned on. Debbie got in bed and covered up with a blanket to get warm. Later Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed. I called Elain before going to bed. She was in her hotel room. Matthew, Melodie, and the girls were at the hotel. Lori Lynn came in while I was talking to her mother.
