Debbie and I stayed up late last night and slept in this morning.  We had prayer together; I showered and shaved, and got dressed for church.  I fixed cream of wheat, fruit, and toast with avocado for breakfast.  Debbie and I drove down to Alex and Carter's ward where Terry and Jill McEwin attend church.  Bishop Harker introduced himself.  He had praise for Alex and Carter.  During the meeting, Baylen Johnson, my great nephew, came and sat with me and Debbie.   After Sacrament Meeting Debbie and I attended Sunday School class.  Terry was in the class; after church, we visited with him.  Jill is in Florida and he is leaving tonight to go and be with her during the winter.  After church, we came home and Debbie started dinner.  I sent happy birthday greetings to Rae Lynn, Tucker, and Lani this morning.   This afternoon I called all the children and left messages for everyone except Matthew.  I talked to him and Ava.  They were on their way to watch Madeline perform in her cheer competition.  Melodie took her earlier.  Bella is at a friend's.  I called and talked to my sister, Elain.  She is coming up to Utah from California at the end of the month.  Baylen Johnson, Elain's grandson and my g-nephew, arrived first.  Alex, Carter and Carter's older brother, Hayden, arrived about 5 PM.  Debbie had a very nice meal and Alex's friends Fez and his caretaker came.  We played games and Debbie had apple crumb pie and ice cream for dessert.  After everyone left I talked to Beth, Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed before 11:00 PM.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey. I paid our Citi Visa credit card statement for June to be paid on July 12th and tithing for August 2024.  I rode in a separate tender over to the island going by the old fort.  It was constructed in 1780, Clarence...

 27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
