Note: Headline News Today: British Lawmakers Vote to Legalize Assisted Dying After Emotional Debate                                                            Parliament voted to allow assisted dying for the terminally ill in England and Wales under strict conditions, opening the way to a landmark change in the law.

I get up in the morning, have breakfast, and read the scriptures.  Then I read the newspaper because I want to learn what the other side is up to.

We got a good night's sleep and had prayer together before the girls started cooking pancakes.  We had prayer with everyone who was up which included about all of the smaller children.  Camden Gourley offered the prayer and blessing on the food.  I wished Loura a happy birthday.  I texted Robyn, my niece, and asked her to give me a call when they get up.  I tried calling LG Electronics but they were not open.  I studied scriptures in Moroni in the Book of Mormon.  I called and talked to Max Kimball and Eric Borg.  At 11:30 AM we took the garbage to the large trash containers for Fimber Lakes residents.  We all met at the Heber Hub and 30 of us had brunch.   Debbie went with the girls shopping.  I went to Walmart and picked up some cleaning items, drinks, etc.  When I got home I studied scriptures and returned Andy Morris's phone call.  The lease on the Sandmont Nursing home expires tomorrow.  He will add an addidum to to existing lease extending it for 5 years.  I told him the lease needs to be in the LLC name not the Trust for the Children.   I called Michael and asked him to send Andy the correct name and tax ID. number.  Michael is going to copy me on the email he sends to Andy.  We had leftovers for dinner and went to the movies; the older children to see Wicked and the younger children to see Moana 2.  We got home and watched Georgia and Georgia Tech football game go into 8 periods of overtime.  We had family prayer with those who were still up at 11:30 PM.  Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
