10 AM - Abbington Memory Center

Christmas and Birthday card

I was up at 7:22 a.m., had prayer, dressed for church, and let Debbie sleep, I borrowed her keys to the Subaru and drove to the church building. I found part of the chairs already set up in the overflow. I started setting up chairs, and in about 10 minutes, Brother Adams and some of the brothers from the 18th Ward came in, and we finished in no time. I drove down to the Legacy Center to exchange the temporary pass they gave me for my key to the Outback.  The Legacy Center is closed on Sundays.  I came home and Debbie was getting ready.  We attended the 7th Ward Sacrament Meeting at 9 am and then drove over to Abbington Memory Center.  The 12 Ward was late today.  Bishop Price brought his family and the residents had a nice program.  His son and daughter, both return missionaries spoke.  After church services, we came home.  Debbie prepared dinner and we had Christmas together.  She had already opened her presents with the children so all the presents were mine except for one.  Debbie did not know about it.  I had it hid and it was the last present, a set of diamond earrings.  I had presents from the children and Debbie.  I got clothes, games, an electric leaf blower with a battery charger that matches the snow blower, games, etc.  Matthew called after Rae Lynn.  Beth is picking me up in the morning at 7 am.  I studied Come Follow Me, D&C for next year.   Debbie and I synced our calendars through June 2025.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey.  27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
