Prioritized Daily Task

Karlene and Joe L Higham's 43rd anniversary

7:00 AM - Beth picking me up to go to the cabin in Heber

9:00 am - return Legacy Pass and pick up Subaru Outback key Debbie

Beth called and woke me at about 6:50 am and was on her way to pick me up.  I had my personal prayer; I packed last night, and Debbie got up and saw me off.  We drove over to Jeff Nelson's and JC dropped Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew off.  Beth drove Jeff's pickup truck and we met Matthew, Madeline, Bella, Brett, Rae Lynn, Ethan, Luke, Owen, Brody, and Weston at Park City Ski Resort.  Melodie stayed at the cabin with Ava.  The children skied and had lunch at the restaurant and lodge.  I did not ski, but took some pictures.  The children are getting better at skiing all the time.  On the way home we stopped at 7-11 convenience store and got some hot chocolate.  Beth took the children back to Kent and Cyd Davis', JC's parents in Orem where JC is staying.  I rode with Matthew and some of the children back to the cabin in Heber.  We stopped at Smith's grocery store and Matt picked up some groceries and medicine for Melodie.  The children showered slept, watched a pro-football game, and played games. Weston lost and had to go lay in the snow outside.  I reviewed the calendar with Matthew and Brett about going to Napal on April 7th and sent a text to Michael, Matthew, and Brett.   We had family prayer with everyone and I planned to sleep on the couch downstairs.  Melodie who is sick came down and told me the children have all been reshuffled and I am to sleep in one of the bedrooms downstairs.  I called and talked to Debbie.  She was tired and sore from working at Shirley Hobb's apartment at the assisted living home in Provo.  We had prayer together before going to bed.

 21 Jun 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  St Peter Port, Quersney 10:30 pm - David Knight, H ypnotist in Coral Theather (Eric was part of the group to be hypnotised)  I was up at 5 am, had prayer, got dressed, and went down to the 6th deck at 5:40 am.  There were 3 or 4 people already waiting to get the first tender tickets for their families to get off the boat this morning.  The Royal Caribbean crew started giving out tickets before 6 am.  I got 12 tickets, came back to our cabin, and went back to bed.  Later when Debbie was getting ready to meet our group and before she left, we had prayer together.  The family went to breakfast and I slept until everyone was getting on the tender to so in to the Island of Guernsey. I paid our Citi Visa credit card statement for June to be paid on July 12th and tithing for August 2024.  I rode in a separate tender over to the island going by the old fort.  It was constructed in 1780, Clarence...

 27 Mar 2024, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 11am - Dermatologist, James Macdonald in Lehi 5 pm - Debbie is taking Max to dinner for his birthday We slept in, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I tried calling the phone number that called me yesterday evening regarding my lost suitcase by Allegiant Airlines but it was someone's personal phone number that works for Allegiant who was working from home.  I called Allegiant Airline for lost luggage at (866) 719-3910.  Their office does not open until 9 AM PST. Later Debbie and I had prayer and I went to see Dr. Macdonald.  I worked on information for the meeting with Matt McCleary on April 1st.  I went with Debbie to take Max to In and Out for fries and milkshake and then to a movie for his 10th birthday.  Afterward, we took him home.  His dad, Jared Hobbs, and brother Jack were home.  I called the main office of Allegiant Airlines for Baggage claims at 866-719-3910.  They told ...

 27 Jul 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  6 pm - take Debbie, Tylee, Jami, and Libby to SLC Airport to catch a flight  to LAX at 8:05 pm and then to Fiji Airlines  on Jet Blue Airline Note:  “God gathers, Satan divides, and Christ unites” Note:  (This is a story I have kept for years.  It has a moral, and I hope it has meaning to you)  Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to outpatients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful-looking man. “Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face; it was lopsided from swelling and scarred, red, and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening.
