 7 Sep 2024, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Swan Valley with Ryan and Karlene Gateway evening session of Stake Conference 2:00 PM - Jeff Schrade's  65th Birthday Party, 161 Fairway Cir, Pocatello at Anita, his mother's home 7:00 AM - Eastern Idaho State Fair,  Tortatoes twisted potatoes with garlic and  parmesan cheese with limeade  Debbie purchased a VBX Wellness machine, a vibrating platform for circulation, strength, pain relief, and flexibility at the fair.   The vibrating machine will be shipped next week.  It has handles to hold on to, it is stronger, heavier, and more safe than mine at home.  6 Sep 2024, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Autumn McAlpin 46th Birthday 10:00 am check-out Park City Condo Up a little before 6 AM, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  I sent Autumn a happy birthday text message.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together, started packing, and Debbie fixed breakfast for us.  We packed the SUV and checked out of the lodge.  We drove back to Lehi and picked up some things we forgot to take with us before we left to go to Shelly for Reed's 70th birthday.  Debbie also picked some items up from the store and smiled the two CO2 containers I use to make carbinated water back to Aurora.  We drove up to Karlene and Joe L's in Shelly.  We listened to part of a story from an audiobook.  Karlene called us and ordered dinner from a stake house in Idaho Falls.  Karlene was not home when we arrived.  Joe L. and his son, Tanner will not be home until tomorrow.  Debbie and I unpacked the Subaru and ate din...

 5 Sep 2024, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task 9:30 A.M. - Miracle-Ear follow-up appointment 7:00 PM - Porter's football  game at Cottonwoods Heights Park City Condo. Debbie and I were up at 6:30 AM, we had prayer, ate a little breakfast, and drove to Lehi on a follow-up to see if my hearing aids needed to be adjusted.  We arrived early and filled the SUV with gas at Costco.  We went back to the Miracle-Ear office and had the volume turned up on the hearing aids.   I have another follow-up on Nov. 14th at 10:30 AM in the Lehi office.  Afterward, we went home.  Debbie worked on cleaning the house and I cut the grass and took all the garbage and recycle containers to the street for pick up next Monday.  I got a text from Alex inviting us to a birthday party for her mother tomorrow at her Grandfather McEwin's home.  I tried to call her but the call went to her answering machine.  I left a message and Debbie tested her.  I call...

Tues. 8- Thurs. 10) (Time changed to 1:00 PM) Shane Jewelry  Shane  Co., 7182 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047 Park City Condo Skiers Lodge, 1235 Norfolk Ave, Park City84060 I got up at 7 AM and Debbie and I had prayer.  Gavin was up and going.  His interview changed into an interview and lunch appointment.  I got a phone call yesterday and my appointment with Dr. Reese Davis was changed to 1 PM.  I went to my appointment and Dr. Davis explained how the incisions above my navil and the ones. on the side where the robotic arm was inserted and the mesh spread over the rupture.  I showed him the pictures on my phone of the surgery done in August 2018.  He said this hernia I now have an incision hernia and said they are fairly common.   I set an appointment for October 10th at Long Peak Hos...

 3 Sep 2024, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task  6:00 AM - Climb to the top of Mt. Timpanogos with Gavin I got up at 4 AM; I had prayer, dressed, and got ready for the day.  Gavin came down at 4:30 AM to make sure I was up and going.  We left the house before 5:30 AM.  We took two cars because I planned to drive to Park City to spend the night with Debbie.  Gavin has an interview for a job tomorrow in Lehi so he spending the night at the house.  I took a picture of Gavin at the house with the permanent outside colored lights before we left.  The Forest Ranger guard house was closed but the road was open.  We parked at about 6:00 AM Aspin Grove parking lot.  I put my Sr. Security Pass in my front dash.  The sun was about 20 minutes before rising so we walked slowly.  Gavin use the flashlight on his cell phone.  It was a beautiful morning with the sun lighting up the mountain and valley.  Gavin and I started hiking ab...

 2 Sep 2024, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task  Labor Day Josa and crew redo outside lights on house  NokBox - final arrangments  Prepare food, water, etc. for a hike tomorrow to the top of Mt. Timapnogos with Gavin Check with Gavin about spending the night with me here at the house to get an early start climbing at 6 AM tomorrow I was up and had prayer at about 7 AM.  When I got ready for the day Debbie and I had prayer together.  I started getting materials etc. ready for my neighbor, Cody, who came by a little after 8 AM.  I texted Jose early this morning and at 9:21 AM I got a text he was on his way.  Cody and I finished rehanging the outside lights under the eves about 11 am.   He and two other of he crew came after 11 am when Cody and I had finished and cleaned up the outside.  Jose sent e a text at 11:47. am.  He was in front of the house and saw the job was completed.  He left and I called him back.  I thoug...

 1 Sep 2024, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  Fast Sunday 8 AM - set up chairs at the church 9 AM - Lehi 7th Ward 10:30 AM - Abbington Memory Center  4:30 PM - Break fast Reed Searle's 70th Birthday I got a good night's sleep, had prayer, shaved, showered, and got dressed for church.  When I arrived Brother Gary Pyne was there and had started setting up chairs in the overflow.  We worked together and by the time the Elder's Quorum President and others came we had the overflow in the gym completed.  It did not take long to set up the priesthood, primary, and relief society rooms,  I sat beside Dan Hammon and two of his sons, Gabriel, and Charles Michael.  After the sacrament was passed we had a testimony meeting.  I shared my testimony and after Sacrament Meeting Brother Gary Pyne, on the Gateway Stake High Council, followed me to Abbington Memory Center.  Debbie and the Gauses, David and Carrie, were there setting u for church. ...
